Design of the Logitech G502 Lightspeed Gaming Mouse
The first and probably among the main aspect that differentiates a standard computer peripheral from a gaming one is its design. From the look alone it really is determined if a device is intended for gaming. And that stands true for the Logitech G502 Lightspeed Gaming Mouse which follows the look policy of the Logitech G series. The mouse gets the same angular highlights with the use of matte plastic and rubber grips along with it whopping 10 buttons. Also Read – Logitech G Pro Gaming Headset Review: No nonsense about these

The Logitech G502 Lightspeed Gaming Mouse is a radio mouse though you will find a braided cable in the box to charge it. Among the rather useful buttons on the mouse may be the the one which adjusts if the scroll wheel resistance. Below it is the G9 button that presents the battery level regarding three bars between your left hand side buttons. Now, to be frank I’ve used so many gaming mice in every these years. I play so a lot of FPS games that at one point I was burning up as much as two mice in a single year. It became an expensive affair to keep replacing mouse and I settled on using the Logitech G402 Hyperion Fury which lasted a lot more than the other mice and wasn’t overweight on the pockets. Hence it didn’t even take me five minutes to be habituated to the Logitech G502 Lightspeed when it arrived.

Weight adjustment
Despite having as much as 10 buttons, the Logitech G502 Lightspeed Gaming Mouse isn’t cumbersome to use at all. I take advantage of a control surface for gaming and four feet of the mouse fly onto it as quickly as I want it to. The Logitech G502 Lightspeed includes options to adapt the weight which is mighty convenient. The slots to insert the weights are on the lower of the mouse. The mouse could be made a complete of 16 grams, divided in four 2 gram weights and two 4 gram weights. Among the misgivings I had with the G502 Lightspeed is that the positioning of the two 2 gram weights are centered, however the positioning of the 4 gram weights certainly are a tad bit nearer to the tail that makes it feel lopsided. I added the four 2 gram weights when using it and it felt exquisite for me.

The underbelly of the mouse also houses the energy slider button of the mouse. The magnetic pop-out clasp where in fact the 4 gram weights could be added also offers room to accommodate the wireless mouse receiver when carrying the mouse to competitions. This mouse definitely gets the Logitech G series blood in it.

The Logitech G502 Lightspeed Gaming Mouse is among the costlier mouse in the gaming peripherals market in India. But Personally i think it’s performance lives up to the purchase price. The tracking of the mouse is uncompromising and proved itself in games like Valorant, Counter Strike Global Offensive, Rainbow Six Siege, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds and even Dota 2 though technically it’s not really a MOBA mouse. I even played some AAA games using this like Sekiro Shadows Die Twice and Monster Hunter World.

The Logitech G502 Lightspeed Gaming Mouse shines when found in FPS games and it meshed correctly with a control surface. Surprisingly the ‘Sniper’ button is a helpful addition although positioning leaves something to be desired as I consciously had to attain for this with my thumb and only connecting partially.

The Logitech G Hub, software helps explore the configurations of the mouse and customize it. The polling rate adjuster and the RGB light controls for the logo are available here. Another complaint with the mouse though isn’t really with the mouse however the buggy G Hub software. Sometimes after hours of using the mouse and leaving it alone for some time would just render the program inactive. It would not track the changes in the sensitivity and the profiles created. Though Personally i think this may easily be fixed with a software update.

Should you choose the Logitech G502 Lightspeed Gaming Mouse?
I’ve tried to comprehensively etch out my experience with the Logitech G502 Lightspeed Gaming Mouse. And easily had to summarize I’d say the mouse ties in flawlessly using its Logitech G series siblings regarding design. It has excellent ergonomic design and performance stats. Nonetheless it isn’t perfect and the added weight distribution might have been better and several the buttons might have been made much easier to reach. Nonetheless it stands favorably in the premium gaming mouse segment at a cost of Rs 14,995. In case you have the budget for reduced segment mouse, then this will be in your {set
