The HF3520 includes two components: the noisy alarms, and the AC adapter, no assembly required. Since there are no USB ports or auxiliary plugs, simply insert the AC adapter in to the clock and plug it in to the wall and it turns on. Heads up, though – there is absolutely no backup power option or built-in battery so If the energy is out, the alarm won’t function.
Configuring the HF3520 clock proved fairly easy aside from a stumble. It began by wanting us to create enough time in bright orange, easy-to-read numbers, that was easy – until we realized that it wanted us to create it in 24-hour time. We tested it before bed, so we’d to double check to make certain we woke through to time. Thankfully, you can swap 24 for 12-hour cycles after the time is established and the house interfaces pops up.
